Altinkum
The primary draw of this resort town is its three long sandy beaches which makes it perfect prime location for a beach wedding or blessing. In fact, the place Altinkum gets its name from these beaches since Altinkum in Turkish means ‘golden sands’.
The beaches at Altinkum stretch a long way, right from the little harbour at one end to the rocky cliff at the other end and also has another two leaving you 3 beaches to choose your wedding setting.
There is a wide choice of restaurants overlooking the sea with fantastic veiws and settings for a beautful wedding or blessing. They also have some bars on the seafront with nice relaxing cushions to lazy the day away whilst having a few drinks, during the evening there restaurants, bars, night clubs make that dream wedding not only a wedding but also a lovely holiday.

Taking a slow walk along the main promenade could take approx 5 to 10 minutes where you can sit out and enjoy a nice quite meal taking in the stunning scenery or head out for a night in the bars and clubs there are many bars from karaoke bars, British pub, Irish bars to more traditional bar with traditional Turkish music.
There is also a number of night clubs including a very popular open air night club called medusa, all of which you can dance the night away in to the early hours of the following day.
You will also find that a number of the restaurants and bars will have evening/weekly entertainment which usually including dance shows, belly dancing, break dancing shows, Turkish dancing and Turkish evenings with set menus, beware they will have everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves by the end of the night.
There are many trips available from Altinkum which can be booked up with ourselves they include the temple of Apollo, Ephesus, Pamukkale and day trips to other areas of Turkey or even Greek islands. There are also other activities such a boat trips around the local beaches.
Altinkum is a holiday resort geared for alll preferences whether it be nights out, lazy days, restaurant with fantastic food and entertainment, lazing on the beach or trips of interest there is something for families, couples, groups and people of all ages making it a perfect resort for not only yourselves but your guests too.
Didim
Didim dates back to the 8th century BC. The name Didyma is known as twins and is known as the meeting place of Zeus and Leto to have their twins Apollo and Artemis. Today Didim is the home of the Temple of Apollo which is visited by hundreds of holiday makers, making it a very popular holiday resort and a wonderful location to hold a wedding. Didim is in the Soke district, situated on the south-west Aegean coast of turkey with the nearest airport being Bodrum, transfer times are around 45mins.
Didim is also well known for tourism and agriculture with main crops being wheat and cotton. Didim has many different types of accommodation from hotels to self catering apartments, it is a quiet and peaceful location with beautiful sights it mainly attracts couples, families and people looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, and it would make a lovely setting for an intimate wedding. Didim has all local amenities needed for a lovely holiday or that perfect wedding, such as supermarket s, shops and restaurants and also has a must see local market held once a week.
Akbuk
Being situated at the foot of a long bay Akbuk is largely untouched and unspoiled by the major tourist industry. Akbuk is a superb location set in a pleasant natural environment by the Aegean Sea, it is surrounded by forests with olive and pine trees with many small beaches and bays in the region, and the sea is clean, safe and warm. Akbuk harbour is host to many different tours and nearby islands can be visited by boat trips.
Trips offer cruises and fishing trips and water sports and paragliding are available at the Club Patio Holiday Resort There is a growing number of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes, many bars have music and entertainment, and there are a disco, although the town is known for having 2-3 open air live Turkish music festival and the Friday open air market, mainly selling food, leather goods, clothing, rugs and carpets and much more Akbuk has a number of sunning hotels from large hotels to small hotels all offering great accommodation that can also cater for weddings and large groups.
